Dame Ina Pinkney’s Documentary Wins Award

Congratulations to Dame Ina Pinkney, the subject of a documentary by Daisy May Films which recently won the Audience Award for Best Documentary Film at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. “Breakfast at Ina’s” showcases Pinkney’s history as the longtime owner of the former Ina’s on Randolph and her popular, weekly column in the Chicago Tribune.

The team at Daisy May Films is thrilled to announce that has been given the Audience Award for Best Documentary Film at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival.

“To say we’re in a state of ecstatic disbelief would be an understatement,” Pinkney said of the news. “Thank you to the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival and its audiences for this honor!”

Currently in its 17th year, the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival is now considered the largest Jewish film festival in the country, with 70 films screened and an overall audience of over 30,000 people.
