This culinary fiction tale centers around Eloise, a private chef with a contented and contained life. But an unexpected reconnection with her best girlfriends from high school results in a three-way bet to make some serious life changes before the trio turn 40. Suddenly Eloise’s life isn’t so contained, and isn’t necessarily so contented, but is it possible it is still somehow better? A look into whether the friends of our youth can, or should, be the friends of our middle age, and whether it might just be possible to live your best life…after forty. How to Change a Life is a fun summer read set in Chicago and laden with food, with original recipes in the back.
