Being a dame is a recognition of your professional achievements. The criteria for membership in LDEI-Chicago:
- Attend at least two member events per year, one of which must be the Annual Meeting (typically in early summer each year)
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience and leadership in food, beverage and/or hospitality
- The highest qualities of professionalism
- Participate in the life of the chapter as a committee member or on the Board of Directors
- Support the Les Dames d’Escoffier International Mission, Vision, and Basic Values
