Scholarships

Since 1982, the Chicago Chapter has offered hundreds of educational and networking events for
members and the community and provided nearly $1 million in culinary scholarships and grants
to Chicagoland’s non-profit organizations.

Through a selection process, scholarships are awarded to women enrolled in accredited Chicago
area culinary schools and hospitality programs. Fundraising activities held throughout the year as
well as corporate partnerships support these annual highly-coveted scholarships for women in
culinary education.

In 2024, the Chicago Chapter will award four $2,500 scholarships. With gratitude for our corporate partner, Plugrà Premium European Style Butter, two of those scholarships will be awarded to pastry students.

She plans to open a non-profit organization to assist females entering the hospitality industry in West Africa. Tradition places females behind the house roles but Veronica wants to show women how to advance their careers. Students like Veronica make their dreams come through their hard work, commitment, dedication, and perseverance.
