Dames Somms Wine Dinner at Cubaneo

The Dame Somms are back and have a knock-out wine dinner happening at Cubaneo in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood!

While one might typically consider pairing rum or beer with Cuban food, the Dame Somms have come up with some “funexpected” pairings that will have you singing “Guantanamera” at the top of your lungs! Wine selections are a surprise, and Dame Regine Rousseau will lead us in a fun “com-pairing” exercise to discover which wines come out on top with each course.

Join us at Cubaneo on Tuesday, April 29 at 6:30 for a four-course Cuban feast including:
– Welcome Cocktail and Croqueta
– Empanada (your choice of chicken or spinach/cheese)
– Mini Cubano Sandwich
– Ropa Vieja
– Vegetable Paella
– Tostones (tasty, fried plantains)
– Your choice of Flan or Tres Leches Cake

Tickets: $85 per person (that includes everything; food, wine, tax, and tip).

Cubaneo will donate a portion of the proceeds from this event to Les Dames d’Escoffier Chicago’s scholarship program for women in food, beverage and hospitality.
