Dames Who Read – July 2025

Join us for a fun summer edition of Dames Who Read featuring The Ungarnished Truth: A Cooking Contest Memoir, Ellie Mathews’ witty memoir about winning the Pillsbury Bake-Off.

Inspired by the book, we’re hosting our own Dames-style cooking contest with prizes, timed entries, and categories like Snappy Apps and Sweet Dreams. Want to compete? Submit your recipe by July 15 to judith@judithdunbarhines.com—five finalists will be selected by July 17. Everyone else will help judge, cheer, and enjoy a shared meal after the cook-off!
