Derby Drinks & Delights

In anticipation of the Kentucky Derby and the magic of Mint Juleps and dramatic hats, our partners at Spiritless, the women-owned non-alcoholic drinks brand, and Four Roses are hosting a very special evening of food and drink pairings.
You will be welcomed aboard the Abegweit (aka “The Abby”), the Columbia Yacht Club’s permanently anchored club ship, with your choice of a Spiritless Belle-ini or a classic full-strength Bellini to kick off the evening.
There will be time to mingle and explore the history of The Abby as it celebrates the 40th anniversary of its voyage from Nova Scotia to its home in DuSable Harbor in Chicago before we sit for a tasting menu paired with Spiritless NA cocktails and full-strength cocktails.
We will gather in the Upper Salon for an extraordinary tasting experience led by Spiritless Co-founder and CEO Lauren Chitwood. During the evening, we’ll enjoy Spiritless NA and full-strength versions of Mint Juleps and other classic cocktails with a savory tasting menu prepared exclusively for Les Dames by the club’s chef.
The evening will conclude with dessert and your favorite cocktail of the evening.

Time: 6-9 p.m.
Location: Columbia Yacht Club; 111 N. Lake Shore Drive. Taxi or ride share is advised as parking can be challenging. There are nearby lots that can be pre-booked on SpotHero.
Cost: $125 per person (No refunds.) Please note: the menu includes shellfish and meat and the venue is not able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
