These photos were taken at the “Cinco de Cleanup” at the Roberti Community House on May 5. Polly Peters, Mary McMahon and I all attended to see our LDE Community Outreach program in action. We were so impressed with everything that Maribeth has accomplished there in a few short years. The Community House is now an integral part of the Waukegan community.

Maribeth Roberti wrote “THANK YOU LES DAMES D’ESCOFFIER!!! We are thrilled and honored to have been selected by this esteemed organization for a grant of $10,000 to fund our “Garden to Table” programming. These funds will allow us to expand our summer efforts. We are excited about beginning a series of cooking classes for children and new offerings for adults will include grilling, canning and making jams and jellies.

Les Dames d’Escoffier is “the premier, invitational organization for influential women leaders in food, fine beverage and hospitality.” We are excited to be able to continue working with this extremely talented group of women.”
